It seems like more and more of us are having issues with this nuisance. I purposely rotated the orientation of this shot 180 degrees and posted it upside down... Note the rocks at the bottom (top) of the image creating the shoreline and the log disappearing into the water!

  • Fall in Chicago<br /> <br /> Daily Photos - October 14, 2011<br /> <br /> It has been quite the challenge to find any vivid "punch-you-in-the-face" fall colors around the Chicago area this year... Lot of mediocre yellow and browns though. I was out hiking this last weekend when I came across this great patch of color in a small clearing in the woods. The lighting here is a little too direct for my taste, but this is the most vibrant display of fall I've come across so far, so I had to stop and try to get the shot...<br /> <br /> (best viewed in larger sizes)

    I like the colors of the flowers such a beautiful purple and yellow color, and that you captured a little extra friend there really ads to it
