Look - Up In The Sky!! It's a bird, it's a plane! It's... ...my ONE-HUNDRED THOUSANDTH photo view! It's a huge milestone and a mini-celebration for me!!! I'm coming up to the 1 year anniversary (Feb 25th) of the date I opened my account and posted my very first picture on SmugMug. 100,000 photo views is probably small-beans compared to the activity a lot of other SmugMuggers see, but I'm pretty happy with my little site so far! Hockey Anyone? Daily Photos - February 10, 2012 Pick a stick...any stick... This is part of the Stick Prep room in the University of Notre Dame's new Compton Family Ice Arena. The main rink in the facility is named the "Lefty Smith Rink", in honor of my wife's grandpa who was the first hockey coach in the program's history. Go Irish!!

Self portrait - (My first, and probably only one...) Daily Photos - February 8, 2012 Well, this was extremely difficult for me to post, but I did it anyways... Please be kind :) LOL As much as I love photographing other people, places, and things, I am pretty reserved (and overly opinionated) about my own appearance. So many of the people we work with are just naturally photogenic and seem so comfortable in front of the camera, that its a bit unnerving and awkward to be on the other end of the lens! Does anybody else have that same feeling? Do you see the same self image when looking at a picture that someone took of you as when you look into the mirror in the morning?
